About Rebecca

Her Story

A massage therapist by trade and a lifelong seeker and wellness ambassador, Rebecca Canaan believes that the wellbeing of mind and body go hand in hand. She collaborates with her clients to determine the best possible treatment for their physical and emotional healing needs. And she incorporates aromatherapy to enhance the effectiveness of the healing process. 
 
The goal is to relieve stress emotionally and physically, thus calming the body, mind, and spirit. This relaxation promotes a healthy immune system, helps reduce the sense of helplessness in the face of disease and crises, and aids in eliminating the effects of imbalances. Rebecca not only provides massages for the body but also for the soul, aiming to achieve her client’s overall wellness.
 
Rebecca has been a massage therapist since 1998. After her training in Bodywork & Massage, she continued her educational journey finding Reiki Healing Touch in 2001. Rebecca is licensed through the California Massage Therapy Council (#40146). And she is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and The International Reiki Membership Association. She also has been trained in aromatherapy.
 
Additionally, Rebecca has experience in sports massage for America's Cup professional athletes, reflexology for firefighters, geriatric massage, hospice compassion care, Reiki Healing Touch, prenatal and postnatal massage, AromaTouch technique, oncology massage, aromatherapy and chakra balancing.
